Very much a case of "if it ain't broke...". The Day One 11 returns unchanged for this year, after being one of our most successful models in 2012. A bike inspired and born out of Vin Cox’s round the world record. A classy pairing of a lightweight Reynolds 853 frameset and Shimano Alfine 11sp drivetrain - all day comfort and reliability mile after mile after mile.

Without doubt one of the prettiest, but also one of the most versatile bikes in the Genesis range. Perfectly suited to anything from a daily commute to a few months getting lost in Europe and exploring the beautiful world around us.

A combination of features inspired by Vin Cox’s ‘Great Bike Ride’ - a fast-and-light round-the-world record ride on a Shimano Alfine hub-equipped Croix De Fer - the Day One Alfine 11 has both braking and 11-speed gearing tucked well out of the way of the elements.
