Northwave shoes are designed with BioMap technology. This means the sole, uppers and components are anatomically compatible with every cyclist's feet and keeps the foot in the right position while pedalling, helping to transfer power directly to the pedals with no wasted energy.

The NRG Air carbon reinforced sole increases stiffness with its new blend of nylon reinforced with fibreglass and enriched with carbon. It features the AirFlow ventilation system for optimal air flow for breathability and to keep your feet comfortable while pedalling.

Multilayer Thermowelded construction is made from a light microfibre and somo large thermowelded mesh vent inserts at the same thickness of a traditional monolayer. This results in greater comfort and reduced weight. The integrated unibody upper construction features a heel retention system in the structure, with no need for external elements.

The 3 asymmetrical straps are moved to the centre to conform to the anatomy of the foot and reduce pressure on the sensitive side area. These straps have been made lighter as all superfluous elements have been removed, with thinner thicknesses and discharged central areas, this also maintains maximum grip. - A.D.
