What is CarBarley™?
CarBarley™ is a low GI (glycemic index) carbohydrate which is sourced from waxy-barley starch and has a high amylopectin content of 92% with approximately 7g of sugar per serving.
CarBarley™ Benefits
This low GI carbohydrate is ideal for the preparation and recovery for a range of sports including team-based sports or endurance based activities which require muscle glycogen stores to deplete.
Who is CarBarley™ Suitable for?
Many athletes and gym-users may look to use this as a replacement to many simple sugars when increasing daily carbohydrate intake. CarBarley™ is ideal for a source of low GI carbohydrates to fuel endurance-based events and team sports.
The dietary choices of all our customers are extremely important to us. Whilst this product is manufactured using ingredients and processing aids suitable for the vegan diet, please note that dairy powders are also used within the same production facility and cross contamination may occur at very small levels.

Therefore in order to replenish muscular glycogen stores we recommend adding 1 large scoop (35g) to 150-250ml of water or your favourite beverage in a Myprotein shaker within 4 hours of exercise. †Beneficial effect is obtained through consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4 g per kg body weight, at doses within the first 4 hours and no later than 6 hours of exercise.
